Hi y'all
It's been a while since I've written here but since we're talking about vocabulary, I love going on Urban Dictionary to learn about some slang language, the home page of the website also describes the words trending at the moment (that's how I just learned that a Shrödinger's Douchebag is a guy who says offensive things and decides if he is joking based on the reaction of people ). I think it is more funny than useful but I love this^^
I don't use Urban Dictionary a lot but I used to use it when I translated subtitles for videos about female rappers (I knew Cardi B before everyone else in France because of these videos, that girl is crazy but I kind of grew fond of her as I translated the videos ).

I am currently enjoying the good weather on my newly furnished balcony, this feels so great, I think this is gonna become my new office
Besides, we did some gardening yesterday afternoon with Mr Poire and we have new beautiful plants of the balcony, this really feels like spring time

Hello all! I feel like talking about my cat. Lately, she jumps in the bathtub after I showered and calls me until I come see her. I run a thin trickle of water because I know cats like to drink from the tap.

But my precious little baby isn't quite as gifted as the cat in the above gif. She… tries to catch the water trickle with her little paws or… to bite it?? Which is just totes adorbs. But alas, ineffective.

My everyday curse: I'm very quiet. Sometimes I'll meet a neighbour, I'll say "hello" once but they don't hear me. So I repeat "hello" louder, but they still don't hear me. At this point I go about my business because I feel ridiculous enough and when they finally notice me, they go "hellooo" with a tone that implies I'm very impolite for not greeting them first. But I diiiiid! I swear I'm polite!

That's informative, with a scary creepy vibe . She's so charismatic and witty and she has done a TED talk about ecology and death (with french subtitles available).

(TW sometimes there is a glimpse of corpses / mummies or remains in her videos)

@Ada or ardor : Funny, I subscribed to her channel not very long ago! Can't remember where I heard from her (probably from Jack Parker? ) but I love her videos, too! I second everything you said and I'll add she has a very soothing voice.
