PotterCon 2012, an entirely online Livestream-based Harry Potter weekend is your ticket to experience nearly everything that Harry Potter conventions offer, and you won't even need to leave your own home - the proceeds of which are benefitting the Harry Potter-based non-profit organization: The Harry Potter Alliance.
The weekend will be full of courses - both academic and in-character, live wizard wrock shows and live screenings of fandom productions such as The Final Battle, The Warlock's Hairy Heart and Starkid's Potter Musicals. Plus, exclusive Behind-the-Scenes documentaries about the Magic is Might Experience and the construction of myHogwarts. You'll be able to meet hundreds of other Harry Potter fans online, see special guests live, and we'll be posting more interactive events over the next coming months.
To celebrate the launch, PotterCon is giving a lucky US PotterCon attendee the chance to win a FREE trip for two to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Resort in Orlando, FL, including airfare, park admission and an on-site hotel.
